This can have many metaphors attached to it and in many ways signals some of the reasons we have both a long way or might never get to a stage where we can accept each other for what it is they are or do that seems different to ourselves. what we have been taught is normal and acceptable will always form a barrier because normal has been made up by many years of social conditioning and in some cases laws to coarse behaviour into our societies.
Many will argue that these rigid boundaries are necessary to bring about cohesion order yet we are all different and our reluctance to accept things that are outside our reality and conditioning will always be there so really we should brace ourselves for a future of more of the same !
